EDITORIAL POLICIES & PUBLICATION ETHICS
Pera Publishing determines the editorial policies with the awareness that the most important criteria for an article to be accepted for publication are originality, high scientific quality, and citation potential. Publications and editorial processes follow the guidelines of the International Medical Journals Editorial Board ICMJE, World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), European Association of Science Editors (EASE).
Pera Publishing encourages Journal’s Editorial Board Members to follow Recommendations for Promoting Integrity in Scientific Journal Publications of Council of Scientific Editors (CSE), and the guidelines provided by the World Medical Editors Association Publication Ethics Committee (COPE).
The Editorial Board and Editor of the published journals are assigned by the owner of the journal. The final decision in the publication of articles is under the authority of the Editor-in-Chief.
 
OPEN ACCESS
Pera Publishing Services’ open access policy follows the criteria of scholarly organizations for transparency and best practice that Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA).
Pera Publishing works with friendly institutions of open access purpose, such as foundations and governments that fund Research, universities and laboratories that employ researchers, and foundations established by discipline or institution. Pera Publishing provides permanent open access to all published articles.
All content of the journals published by Pera Publishing Services can be accessed as open access on the journal's web page.

ARCHIVING POLICY
All authors have the option to self-archive their open-access articles (Submitted version, accepted version, published version). Authors may retain/archive the published version or the author's final peer-reviewed version when the material is accepted for publication.
Journal materials published online are stored in the archives of CLOCKSS, LOCKSS, PKP PN, PubMed Central (PMC) determined by the editorial board of the journal.
 
COPYRIGHT & LICENSED POLICY
Pera Publishing follows OASPA (https://oaspa.org/best-practices-licensing-attribution-need-to-know/) recommendations in its licensing policies.
No royalties are paid to authors for published articles.
The licensing policies followed in the journals are clearly stated on the websites and all published materials of each journal.
Works published by Pera Publishing are published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) License and/or various Creative Commons licenses determined by the journal editorial boards.
 
PUBLICATION FEES
Published in open access journals; subscription, access fee, application fee and evaluation fee are not required.
 
ADVERTISING POLICY
Journals published by non-profit organizations (associations, universities, etc.) are funded by their institutions.
Advertising can be placed on the back covers of journals. It is the advertiser's responsibility to comply with ethical principles such as accuracy, honesty, protection of children and youth, respect for personal rights, health and environmental awareness, and consumer protection.
Pera Publishing checks the suitability of the advertisement content. The final decision in the publication of the advertisement belongs to Pera Publishing Services.
 
RESEARCH ETHICS POLICY
Pera Publishing follows the World Medical Association (WMA) Declaration of Helsinki on Ethical Principles in medical research on human volunteers and animal subjects in the publishing contents. INFORMED CONSENT POLICY
It is the author's responsibility to inform patients about the study. For all journals published by Pera Publishing Services, the responsible author is requested to submit an informed consent form during the article application.
Informed consent is given in articles published in all journals.
 
CONFLICT OF INTEREST
An author (or the author's institution or employer) may influence the author's decisions or work on the article; There may be a conflict of interest if they have financial or personal relationships.
Pera Publishing Services obliges them to submit the ICMJE form signed by all authors during the article application.
A conflict of interest statement is published in the explanations section of all versions (electronic/printed) of the articles published in the journals published by Pera Publishing Services.
 
PLAGIARISM
Pera Publishing Services uses the iThenticiate program to determine the similarity of the referenced articles before and after the evaluation process. PEER REVIEW POLICY
Pera Publishing Services accepts article submissions through each journal's own online article evaluation systems.
The owner of the journal (the Grant Holder) determines the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial Boards.
The evaluation process of the journal is established by the Editorial Board. All articles in the application process are evaluated by the journal's independent, expert referees.
All articles submitted to journals undergo scientific and technical evaluations. Evaluation processes are determined by the Editorial Board of the journal. The Editorial Board has the right to reject the article without the need for evaluation.
In the evaluation processes of the articles; International Medical Journals Editorial Board ICMJE ( http://www.icmje.org/recommendations/ ), World Medical Editors Association (WAME) and European Science Editors Association (EASE) rules are followed.
The content in the published journals is open-access and prepared for publication through double-blind peer-review processes.
The article evaluation process, scientific content, statistical analysis, adequacy of references, clarity of authors' statements of conflict of interest and funding sources, etc. It is conducted by referees who are experts in their fields. In line with the referee's decisions, the final decision (acceptance/rejection) regarding the publication of the material rests with the Editor-in-Chief.
* Evaluations in in-house applications are prepared for publication through double-blind refereeing processes.
 
CORRECTIONS
If any corrections detected in published articles are published under the title of "erratum" following in the first subsequent journal issue. Metadata of the corrected version of the article can be published with the DOI number.
 
RETRACTIONS
If a violation of the ethical rules is detected, the article can be withdrawn.
The author should send the withdrawal request document to the Journal Editor by mail, with the justifications and wet signature of each author. Unless approved by the Editorial Board, it cannot be sent to another journal for evaluation.
Metadata for preprints is maintained that is withdrawn from posting and post-withdrawal notices indicating the timing and reason for withdrawal of a preprint. (ICMJE)
The editor-in-chief is authorized for the final decision.
 
EDITORIAL EXPRESSIONS OF CONCERN
The recommendations of the World Medical Editors Association Publication Ethics Committee (COPE) will be followed in solving the problems in the submitted articles (COPE).
